What is a financial coach?
I like to think of a financial coach as a personal trainer for your paycheck. A financial coach is a professional that helps with your current money situation, the here and now. Their role is to provide clients guidance, education, and accountability to help them achieve their financial goals and improve their overall financial well-being. Financial coaches typically focus on budgeting, saving, debt management, and planning for major expenses or future financial milestones. Financial coaches aim to empower clients to take control of their finances, develop healthier financial habits, and work towards long-term financial stability and success.
As a financial coach l specialize in helping both couples and individuals gain clarity on the here and now. Together we will gain control of your finances to make them work for you and your unique lifestyle. I typically will compare gaining control of your finances to a diet. Being too restrictive is not sustainable. Being too lenient will not give you results. Therefore it is important to find a balance. Living within your means takes a shift in mindset. It is building small habits over time. It is being more mindful when making purchases. Like a diet, it will require a lifestyle change. If you are a millennial who just got married, looking to buy a house, or building a family, look no further, you just found your biggest cheerleader, motivator and accountability partner. Let start putting your finances behind your goals!
